Prize's Jury
In this Seventh edition of the Prize the Jury will evaluate the entries for both the sections during March 2010.
This year the International Jury Members are going to be:

Prof. Thomas Herzog (Jury Chairman)
Thomas Herzog works in Munich, where he was born in 1941.
He is considered one of the founders of bioclimatic architecture, both as a practitioner and teacher, having spent a large part of his life on this task in Europe, in the US and more recently in China.
Thomas Herzog founded his practice in 1971.
He was one of the pioneers of the theory and application of solar energy, first with houses and then, very quickly, with larger buildings designing a large numbers of housing schemes and developing typology of collective solar housing.
He was Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at Technische Universität München, visiting Professor at Ecole Polytechnique Féderale de Lausanne (EPFL) Guest Professor at Tsinghua University Beijing, Graham Professor at University of Pennsylvania (PENN) and Guest Professor at Royal Danish Academy Copenhagen DK.

Prof. Juhani Pallasmaa
Juhani Pallasmaa was born in Hämeenlinna, Finland, in 1936. 
He’s an architect and former professor of Architecture at the Helsinki University of Technology and a former Director of the Museum of Finnish Architecture (1978-1983).
He runs his own architect's office in Helsinki and is also Ruth & Norman Moore Visiting Professor at Washington University in St. Louis, U.S..
Among Pallasmaa's many books on architectural theory is "The Eyes of the Skin - Architecture and the Senses", a book that has become a classic of architectural theory and is required reading on courses in many schools of architecture around the world.

Prof. Alexandros Tombazis
Alexandros N. Tombazis is an internationally renowned Greek architect who has a particular interest and expertise in solar architecture.
Tombazis was born in India in 1939, and he is a member of leading professional organisations and societies, including the international and American solar energy societies, the American Institute of Architects and the Greek Architect  Association.
In 1963 was found Alexandros N. Tombazis and associates architects the wich actually covers the design and supervising of works in many fields and a broad range of scales being specialized in low energy and bioclimatic buildings.  

Arch. Nicola Marzot
Nicola Marzot was born in Imola (Bologna, Italy) in 1965.
He’s an architect and since 2000 a contract professor at the Ferrara Faculty of Architecture.
He was visiting professor in Architecture at the Hosey University of Tokyo, Lund University, Sweden, TU Delft Polytechnic, Delft, Netherlands.
Nicola Marzot  (with Luca Righetti), is senior partner of PERFORMA A+U design firm, practicing his professional activity in the field of planning and advice, both individually and in collaboration with multitasking networks.

Prof Gianluca Minguzzi (Jury Secretary)
Gianlcua Minguzzi was born in Ravenna (Italy) in 1972, he’s Secretary and Member of Jury of the "International Sustainable Architecture Prize " from 2004, year of its first edition. 
Since 1999 he’s a contract professor in Environmental Design at the Ferrara Faculty of Architecture and teacher in post graduates master on  the themes of the ecological architecture and the energetic efficiency .
In 1999 Gianluca Minguzzi founded (with Nicola Pasi and Golfieri Enrico) the “Officina di Architettura” a practice based in Alfonsine (Ravenna).
He’s also author of publications on sustainalbe architecture and fiber reinforced plastics.
